Our purpose is to create an environment conducive to the growth of the Human Soul and its Attainment of Enlightenment, and to bear that light upon the mountain of Initiation for all those who have the persistence and determination to climb its treacherous heights. Our work is to manifest the actualization of the Unity of Science and Spirituality through the Western Hermetic Traditions. We maintain the Light of Hidden Knowledge within the Tradition of the Golden Dawn and the RR & AC, but feel that these should be complemented by mystical practices in order to provide a solid foundation upon which the Initiate can rise. Utilizing the Philosophies of our Ancestors and the Wisdom of the Ascended Masters, together we shall bring forth the Light of the Secret Wisdom to Humanity.
Therefore as an Order, we hold all Religions Sacred, for the Light of Truth has sparked in them all. It is our aim to bring forth the Rite and Ceremony of the Ancient Egyptians, the True Gnosis of the Mystical Rosicrucians, the Royal Art of The Alchemist, the Concealed Mysteries of the Kabbalists, and the Samadhi of the Yoga of the East. Our Temple is a bastion of acceptance and tolerance of the human condition. We do not discriminate when it comes to gender identity, sexual orientation, race, age (barring legal conditions), or social status; however, we do require a belief in a Supreme Being. Whether one calls that being God, Goddess, the Higher Self, the Universe, the Great Spirit, the Spiritual Matrix, or by any other names, we accept one’s personal relationship with that ultimate Divine Source.
We hope that those who are called to the light come forth out of the Wild Darkness, for there is healing in that Light. This path is about that healing of the human soul, the enlightenment of the Mind, and the Continuity of the Consciousness of the Eternal Self. We open our temple Doors to those seekers who would find consanguinity with us, enjoin in the Study of the Ancient Wisdom, and find Compassion in the Community of the Golden Dawn.
Our Temple is based in Asheville, NC, accessible from Eastern Tennessee and Western North Carolina.
